LONSDALE STREET GREEK FESTIVAL
The Lonsdale St Greek Festival returns for the 33rd year, bringing Melbourne’s biggest Greek street party to the CBD. There will be plenty of stalls set up, food to try, drinks to be had and hours of entertainment across three stages. Headlining the free Saturday night concert will be Yiota Negka, while Sifis Tsourdalakis, one of Melbourne’s most gifted Greek exports, will close the event.

RHODIAN BROTHERHOOD ENSOMATOSI BALL
The Rhodes Club of Melbourne is holding the Ensomatosi Ball to commemorate the union of the Dodecanese Islands with Greece in 1947. The event has relevance today with the rising tensions with Turkey since the discovery of offshore oil and gas deposits in the eastern Mediterranean.

HELLENIC COMMUNITY OF WA & ST ANDREW’S GRAMMAR FIRE APPEAL
It’s time to come together with open hearts to raise as much money as possible for the victims of the Australian bushfires. The Hellenic Community of WA is doing its part by joining forces with St Andrew’s Grammar to host a fire appeal. Attendees will be treated to mezze and a souvla dinner with entertainment by DJs Mihali K and Socrates, dance group performances and more to be announced. One hundred per cent of ticket and raffle proceeds will go directly to families affected by the devastating fires.
