GREEK FRINGE: VOCAL WORKSHOP WITH AGGELIKI TOUBANAKI
Greek Fringe is hosting an online singing workshop with renowned Greek gypsy jazz vocalist Aggeliki Toubanaki. ART AND CRISIS ON THE STREET OF ATHENS
Dr Johnny Karanicolas will outline the complex composition of the alternative art scene which has developed in Athens, Greece throughout a time of crisis. With the emergence of the economic crisis in 2009 and the intensification of the refugee crisis between 2015 and 2016, images of suffering, anarchy, indignation and violence have become synonymous with Athens.

PRONIA WEEKLY MEDITATION SESSIONS
PRONIA is hosting a series of weekly meditation sessions for women in order to reduce stress and anxiety during this time. The sessions are facilitated by Lucy Louca an accredited Stillness meditation therapy teacher and they are offered free of charge by PRONIA as part of its community programs to combat the negative effects of the lockdowns on women and to help them build resilience and regain energy. The program is for women only.

Greek Fringe presents an intercontinental double bill that showcases extraordinary exponents of Greek music from around the globe! The Kadinelia folk-guitar duet is made up of Athanas Zikas and Evi Seitanidou, who will be playing with Australian based Cretan fusion band Delyrium.
