Dall’Italia All’Australia, is a silent film by Angelo Drovetti of the voyage of the Regina d’Italia.

In September 1924, Regina d’Italia brought 504 migrants from Europe to the South Seas.

The passengers included some 130 Hellenes, from Kythera, Castellorizo and Cyprus.

See the Sydney Harbour before the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, Circular Quay and Taronga Park Zoo.

The film will be accompanied by live music performed by ‘The Viaggiatori’ (The Voyagers) including Kavisha Mazzella, Irine Vela David De Santi and Mark Holder-Keeping.

They accompany the film with old Italian and Greek folk songs  to create a charming old world feel.
