Much loved Greek singer Vassilis Karras, known for big hits such as ‘Den Pao Pouthena’, ‘Gyrise’ and ‘Tilefonise Mou’, is once again coming to Australia for three concerts in Melbourne.
Melbourne audiences will have the opportunity to see Karras for three nights, on 3, 4 and 11 June at the TRAK Lounge in Toorak.
Originally from Kavala, Karras began his professional career in Thessaloniki. He has been hugely successful over the years, with his records going both gold and platinum.
Karras has a large audience, not only in Greece, but is loved by Greeks worldwide. Apart from being a singer, he is also a lyricist, having written songs for a variety of Greek singers.
He has also collaborated with some of the great Greek composers and lyricists such as George Theofanous, Phoebus, Christos Dantis and many others, as well as performing duets with singers such as Tolis Voskopoulos, Kaiti Garbi, Despina Vandi and Angela Dimitriou.
