ANTIPODES FESTIVAL

For the Greek Community living in Australia, the Lonsdale Street Festival is a must-attend event that celebrates the rich culture and food of Greece. The festival brings together Greek Australians to share the very best of Greece’s culture: think food, competitions and fun activities for the kids. Delicious food is part and parcel of Greek’s amazing culture, so it is little wonder that an integral part of the festival is the various food stalls that dot the streets. Live entertainment is constituted of both local and international acts and the line-up changes each year. Lonsdale Street Festival has various activities in which kids to enjoy from arts, to face painting and balloon sculpting. Storytelling at the festival is also quite popular for the little ones who enjoy reading and there will also be rides.
