University of Sydney’s Professor Vrasidas Karalis will be presenting a talk on the 100 years of Greek cinema at Sydney’s Greek Bilingual Bookshop.

This will be followed by a screening of Golfo (1914), the first feature film produced in Greece. Despite the loss of the original, the 1955 Finos Film version will be shown.

Cost of entry includes nibbles, with all proceeds going to the University of Sydney’s Department of Modern Greek, to be used for the Modern Greek Conference next month.
