Julian Assange has failed to stop an extradition bid to send him to Sweden to face rape and sexual assault allegations.
The London High Court announced that the founder of whistle-blowing web site WikiLeaks would be sent to Sweden to be questioned over claims he sexually assaulted one woman and raped another in Stockholm last year.
The 40-year-old Australian arrived in court in silence and sat with head bowed throughout Lord Justice Thomas's decision.
He had reportedly learned last week that he had lost the bitter fight, which has raged throughout British courts since December.
His legal team requested up to 21 days to decide whether they would fight the appeal dismissal and take the case to the Supreme Court.
