A familiar face has returned to Athens this week, power forward Mike Batiste.

The 36-year-old, 2.03-meter tall Californian power forward/center is set to rejoin Panathinaikos for the next season.

He will be arriving from Fenerbahce Ulker, where he spent last season.

In Istanbul, Batiste averaged 5.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 23 Euroleague games.

Batiste had been with Panathinaikos from 2003 to 2012 where he won three Euroleague titles in 2007, 2009 and 2011.

He has also won numerous domestic titles with Panathinaikos, gaining widespread popularity among fans of the Athens team.

Batiste was also an All-Euroleague First Team selection for 2010-11 and Second Team selection for 2011-12.
