Having the title decided so early on in the Super League can make for a lack lustre finish, but the battle brewing with veterans Panathinaikos and PAOK is giving fans something to cheer about.

Only one point differentiates the two on the ladder, and just this week, the Greens managed to steal second spot after their 2-0 home win over Xanthi.

PAOK couldn’t get the three points as they were held by PAS Giannina in a 1-1 draw at the Toumba.

Second place is very much in the air considering there are two matches left.

Panathinaikos travels to Corfu to meet Kerkyra this Monday, hoping to build some much needed momentum after some very inconsistent results.

PAOK isn’t in much better shape either, but is riding on two wins and a draw in their last three matches.

They stay at home this week as they take on 13th placed Levadiakos in the final match on Monday.
