The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a contract extension with Giannis Antetokounmpo, locking up one of the most versatile players in the NBA.

The team's coach Jason Kidd values the 6-foot-11 forward enough to have the rest of the team following his lead.

According to the Associated Press, the deal was worth four years and US $100 million, becoming the third ever European to sign a nine figure contract.

Also known as 'The Greek Freak', 21-year-old Antetokoumpo is considered a phenom as he has ability to play every position on the floor except for center.

The Buck's star averaged 16.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game in last season making use of his versatility and length.

The Greek Freak who successfully took over the team's ball-handling duties also became the first player in history to record five triple-doubles in a season.

"In my fourth year, my role is going to be a lot bigger," Antetokounmpo had predicted a while ago. "It's time for me to step up and lead this team."

And so he has.
