Turkey has been eliminated from the women’s EuroBasket Championship after losing to Greece by 29 points on Thursday.

Greece’s national team won 84-55 at the match held in Prague, making it into the semifinals of the 2017 Eurobasket in the Czech Republic as well as to the next World Championship.

Led by talent Evina Matsi who scored a total of 25 points, this was reportedly one of the Greek team’s best performances ever with a 100 per cent in free throws and 52 per cent in three-pointers, along with 21 assists against Turkey’s 10.

This will be the first Eurobasket semifinal in Greece’s women’s basketball history with the team facing the winner of tonight’s game between Slovakia and France.
