Olympiakos produced one more spectacular display in the top-16 of the Euroleague to trounce visiting Armani Milano 81-58 in Piraeus on Thursday.

The Reds made it two out of two in the second group stage of the competition, as they only faced a challenge by their visitor in the first half of the match at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

The Italians led by five after the first period (18-13), but Olympiakos regained its composure and went ahead by four (39-35) at half-time and never looked back.

Scoring 10 unanswered points at the start of the third period Olympiakos advanced 49-35 and fended off Milano’s last challenge (51-44) with an impressive performance in defense that had the Italians frustrated.

In the last quarter Olympiakos ran riot as Armani appeared to have given up trying, so the margin grew to 23 points in the end.

Oliver Lafayette and Brent Petway notched up 13 points each for the Greek team.

On Wednesday PAOK suffered a 71-59 defeat at Limoges in France for the Eurocup.
