American songstress Kelly Clarkson walked down the aisle last week, finally tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Brandon Blackstock. The couple got engaged in December 2012, and decided to hold a much simpler, smaller wedding than previously anticipated.
The wedding was held at Blackberry Farms in the US state of Tennessee, with Clarkson wearing a lace white dress by Temperley. Showing some of her Greek roots (Clarkson’s mother is of Greek descent), she wore a special one-off headpiece designed by Jim Verraros and Maria Elena of Maria Elena Headpieces.
Clarkson tweeted the event to her fans, saying “I’m officially Mrs Blackstock. We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!”
She struck fame after she won American Idol in 2002, the show’s first year, and has become one of the most successful winners of the show.
