The Hellenic Museum’s summer cinema program will come to a close on Saturday night, when it screens the 1948 classic The Germans Strike Again.

Regarded as one of the true classics of Greek cinema, the movie is set shortly after the Second World War, and tells the story of the protagonist’s nightmare, that Hitler is alive and well and preparing for another fight.

Directed by Alekos Sakellarios and staring Vasilis Logothetidis and Nitsa Tsaganea, the movie is a poignant way to finish the cinema program.

Greek Australians have been treated to movie classics like Zorba the Greek and Never on Sunday as part of this year’s sell out program.

The pop-up outdoor café, serving up Greek dishes, wines, and beers will be open from 6.00 pm.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for concession and can be purchased online at www.eventbrite.com.au/e/the-germans-strike-again-tickets-14970055840
