Artist Maria Hryssikou’s ‘Ellipses’ is a photographic exhibition exploring the human condition and its representation through the genre of portrait. Her work exhibited at the Brunswick Street Gallery is a trilogy, focusing on the four elements that constitute the rhetoric of portrait: facial expression, pose, clothes and social space.

This weekend might be the last chance to see her work, as the exhibition will close on June 19 at 3.00 pm.

Ms Hryssikou’s work will be on display from 10.00 am to 6.00pm on the weekend and 10.00 am to 8.00 pm on Tuesday at 322 Brunswick St, Fitzroy, VIC.
