A man wandering as homeless was arrested in downtown Athens late on Saturday night following a dispute over a restaurant bill with the establishment’s owner, AMNA reports.

The man, an Afghan national, was reportedly carrying a rucksack with seven detonators; some electronic and some electric- and several fake ID cards.
According to the latest police report the man who has been detained by counter-terrorism officers has no permanent residency or legal documents. The foreign national who claims to be 19 years old is said to have been living in different apartments, hosted by other foreign nationals.

Local media have reported that the man who has been detained in the past for providing false identification is refusing to answer police’s questions about his identity or give any information about the detonators.
A further investigation is under way.
