From a humble upbringing in Sydney’s western outskirts, Mark Bouris’ entrepreneurial acumen has seen him scale the heights of the business world.
Mr Bouris has been made a Member of the Order of Australia for his service to the finance industry, particularly in the home loan mortgage sector, and to charitable organisations.

In 1996, Bouris founded Wizard Home Loans, which grew to become one of Australia’s largest non-bank lenders, with around 300 branches across Australia, New Zealand and India, before it was sold to GE Money in 2004.

In 2007, Bouris founded Yellow Brick Road, a wealth management company, where he is the current executive chairman. He is also the chairman of product development firm TZ Limited, and biotechnology company Anteo Diagnostics.

Bouris has also made significant contributions to the education sector in his role as an adjunct professor at the University of New South Wales Australian School of Business, and as a mentor to students at the Australian School of Business.

In addition to his work in the business sector, Mark Bouris has also been a longstanding benefactor to St Vincent de Paul’s Vincentian House and to the City of Sydney Police Citizens Youth Club.
