Debbie Franklin, a juror from the Michael Jackson trial has broken her silence and revealed the reasons behind the sentencing of the singer’s personal doctor.

Franklin said in a TV interview that Dr Conrad Murray was found guilty because he failed to call emergency services, had no medical equipment at Jackson’s residence, and he left Jackson alone.

Murray was found guilty last week of causing Jackson’s death in 2009, and was sentenced with involuntary manslaughter.

Franklin said one of the jurors was convinced Murray was guilty straight away but the rest were not convinced. It took the end of the trial for them to come to a unanimous decision. Franklin said being on the jury was stressful.
