AHEPA Youth have capped off a long fruitful year by electing a new executive. Former president John Papaemmanouil has vacated his spot to welcome new president Anthea Tsaousis, the first female president for the youth chapter. She is joined by vice president Marialena Michanetzi and secretary Anna Vassiladis.

Miss Tsaousis expressed her desire to increase membership and their fundrasing efforts for Father Themis’ Orthodox Mission in Sierra Leone. While fundraising is a big part of AHEPA Youth’s culture, she would also like to expand the group’s networking opportunities and continue events like the AHEPA-NUGAS Business Breakfast.

“AHEPA is all about being upstanding citizens of our community and we are going to try and do this in more innovative ways to build upon our past success and attract more youth: colourful fundraisers, business breakfasts and more member-based activities,” she said.
