Famous for his roles in TV soap operas General Hospital and Days of Our Lives, Greek Australian actor Thaao Penghlis now tells it all in his captivating memoir and travel diary Places: the journey of my days, my lives.
The book, due to be released on 15 July by Padaro Press, combines Penghlis’ Greek and Australian heritage with his Hollywood career and captivating journeys to places he travelled to.
Born and raised in Sydney to Greek parents, Thaao Penghlis moved to New York after high school, where he began studying drama with the great acting coach, Milton Katselas.
He pursued a career as an actor – including his role as one of the most enduring characters on Days of Our Lives – to fund his desire for exotic travels.
