The Greek-Australian Cultural League of Melbourne invites its members and friends to the launch of the periodical Antipodes, Vol.60, 2014, to be presented by Dr Thanasis Spilias.

This year the periodical pays tribute to Plutarch Deliyannis for his tireless and dedicated contribution to the Greek letters, history and culture in the Greek Australian community. Plutarch was one of the founding members of the GACL, in 1970, and its first secretary. He also served in various other positions thereafter and remained a staunch supporter till his departure.

At the same event we will be announcing the results of the Literary Competition 2014.

GACLM was established in 1970 by a group of young, dedicated and visionary men and women whose love of the Greek letters and culture bore fruit in the creation of an association that promoted and supported the creative endeavours of Greek Australian artists and writers. It is the longest circulating Greek Australian periodical.

When: Sunday 5 October at 3.00 pm
