Victoria Police has released new images in its search for Andrew Darling, a convicted child rapist, who fled a correctional facility in Ararat shortly after 2:30am Sunday morning.
He was last detected at the Corella Place Facility on Warrak Road and whilst it is unknown what he was last wearing, he is known to wear camouflage clothing.
The 42 year old is described as Caucasian, approximately 176cm tall, medium build, has blue eyes and fair-coloured close-cropped hair and fair complexion.
He has both ears pierced and tattoos on his right lower leg, back and arms.
Police are urging any witnesses or members of the public to call Triple Zero (000) if they spot Darling, or anything suspicious, and have warned landowners in the Ararat area to remain cautious around sheds and outhouses.
