Spartans to play Mt Lilydale on Saturday.

13 June 2014

After a well earned week off, the Hawthorn Spartans are back and raring to go. They'll be looking for their ninth win in a row to cap a major sponsor and souvlaki day at the home ground.

The boys will be back to full strength against the third on the ladder, Mt Lilydale.

They're currently on a two match winning streak, and will be fielding an formidable team to get the one up on the Spartans.

In their last meeting, the Spartans were held to their lowest winning score, 84-46 and could be a real threat to the team if they play a completely different game.

The Spartans are calling for their biggest support crowd yet to help push them to another win. Grab a souvlaki and help the boys to their next win.

The match begins at 11.40 am at Rathmines Road Reserve, Hawthorn on Saturday, and the canteen will be open.
