The Hawthorn Spartans are becoming the team to beat as they secured their sixth win in seven matches last Saturday.
Leading in every quarter, the Spartans made easy work of La Trobe University, finishing their match 21 points ahead. As the season progresses, the Spartans are creating more depth within the team and incorporating new players well. Last Saturday saw the debut of Andrew Stavropoulos, making up for a number of injured players. Jonathan Koziaris made an impressive comeback to the team too, named as one of the best players of the match by the coaching staff.
This week, the team heads to Como Park to play Prahran Assumption at 9:20am. Prahran Assumption hasn’t has as much consistency this season as the Spartans but have shown momentum with two wins under their belts in the last two weeks.
