Sydney FC midfielder Terry Antonis is set to join Greek giant PAOK on a $500,000 fee, but will reportedly be offset to fellow Super League club Veria on loan.
It is believed that PAOK has cited a buyout clause in the young Socceroos’ contract, bringing Sydney FC to the table to discuss a deal.

Accordingly to reports, Antonis will sign a three-year deal with the Greek club, and has been reassured by PAOK’s sporting director Frank Arnesan of the club’s belief in him, despite the loan-out rumours.

Antonis was on the verge of achieving his European football dream two years ago when he almost signed for Italian side Parma, but the club made a last minute backflip after he suffered a quadricep injury.

He holds a Greek passport.
