The world’s most stunning building won’t be one but two. Australia’s first twin towers will be built in the heart of Greek diaspora, Oakleigh’s Eaton Mall in Melbourne.

The overall cost of the impressive twin towers is estimated to reach the amount of $150 million. Most of the cost will be covered by community benefactors and investors.

This project is undertaken jointly by the Greek Community of Melbourne and Victoria (GOCMV) and Oakleigh’s Greek Community.

Neos Kosmos has contacted Bill Papastergiadis, president of GOCMV, to find out more but he has not yet confirmed the date.

According to our sources, he is excited and extremely proud for this new project, to be delivered to Melburnians once the Bulleen centre is completed.

“This project will prove to the rest of the world that Melbourne is the true capital of Greek diaspora and that Melbourne’s vibrant Greek community spearheads every important decision taken in this country,” the President appears to have said.
