Police have charged two teenagers for assault and theft following the unprovoked assaults of a 15-year-old boy at a Chadstone bus stop on Sunday.

A Bayswater North boy, 15, and Clayton South boy, 16, were charged with robbery and intentionally and recklessly causing serious injury.

The two will appear before a children’s court at a later date.

A 17-year-old Pakenham boy was also interviewed by police and released pending further investigation in relation to the assault.

The 15-year-old victim, identified as Yianni, suffered a deep cut above his eye, a lump on the back of his head and two dislodged teeth after a group of three
teenagers set upon him, stealing his phone and leaving him unconscious in a pool of blood.
