The Hawthorn Spartans are hoping to continue their winning streak when they come up against La Trobe University tomorrow.

La Trobe are currently in third position, on equal points with the Spartans. It’ll be a great test to the Greek sponsored team’s preparation as they hit the pitch and vie for another big win.

The have been cruising through some easy matches of late, enjoying five wins in six matches. Last week they managed to thrash their opponent last week, leaving Old Ivanhoe with only 62 points, 100 less than what the Spartans finished with.

Like most strong wins from the club, the boys managed to dominate from the first two quarters, with 14 goals accumulating and setting a fast pace to follow.

The Spartans are hoping a number of fans will travel with them to Kevin Bartlett Reserve to watch them take on a fierce opponent. The canteen will be open, with kick-off at 11:40am.
