James Bond’s first Greek love interest actress Tonia Sotiropoulou revealed that she never had a chance to read the script to the 23rd Bond blockbuster Skyfall due to strict secrecy protocols.

It wasn’t until she was on the set filming her scenes that she discovered the plot of the film.

“I was one of the people who never had a script,” the Greek actress said.

”I just got told what I’d be doing on set by the director. They have to be so careful. You have quite strict contracts that say you can’t say anything about the plot. And everyone respects that.”

A stranger to blockbusters, Sotiropoulou said she was nervous prior to the hot steamy love scenes with actor Daniel Craig – who plays James Bond but said Craig relaxed the actress before the scenes.

Skyfall has a national release date in Australia of November 22.
