It’s been a ten year wait for George Michael fans, but finally the singer is set to release his first new album ‘Symphonica’ on March 17, 2014. This is George’s sixth solo album.

‘Symphonica’ is the first since 2004 hit ‘Patience’ and is a collection of covers from artists such as Elton John and Nina Simone, and original material.
The record was recorded at the completion of his European tour of the same name in 2011 and 2012. The album was produced by the late Phil Ramone, who counted Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin amongst his credits.

The new album will be released by Virgin EMI/Universal Music Group as a deluxe 17-track CD, standard 14-track album and as a ‘pure audio’ Blu-ray disc on March 17.
