Health low risk for Greek migration to Australia
Greece is placed in the lower risk category for the health examinations needed for temporary and permanent visas to Australia, according the Department of Immigration
Greece is placed in the lower risk category for the health examinations needed for temporary and permanent visas to Australia, according the Department of Immigration's website.
For temporary visa, persons from Greece will not require a health examination unless special significance applies. These include: if you are pregnant and intending to have the baby in Australia, if you intend to work as a doctor, dentist, nurse or paramedic, if you are likely to work or as a trainee at an Australian childcare centre, or if you are aged 75 years or older and are applying for a visitors visa.
Persons from Greece applying for a permanent visa will need to undergo a medical examination are are required to complete a chest x-ray, a HIV test if 15 years or older and if pregnant, will need to complete a Hepatitis B test.
