Uncle Jesse, aka John Stamos has married his pregnant fiancée and actress Caitlin McHugh in an intimate backyard ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills alongside family and close friends.

McHugh, 31, who wore a strapless A-line tulle gown while Stamos, 54, opted for a classic black suit suit and bowtie. It is the first marriage for the actress while Stamos was previously married to model and actress Rebecca Romijn for seven years, from 1998 to 2005.

The happy couple are also expecting their first child; Stamos had announced the pregnancy back in December followed by an appearance at the 2018 SAG Awards last month.

The Greek American star and McHugh got engaged in Disneyland in October after dating for two years.

“The look on John’s face when I told him we were pregnant was priceless,” McHugh had told the press. “It was the look of a man who has wanted a family of his own but wasn’t sure it was going to happen for him. Now it is!”

Even though the weekend ended on a happy and high note for the cuddled up newlyweds, getting there was no walk in the park.

A few hours before the wedding a burglar broke into the the bride’s bedroom removing several items of jewelry valued at approximately $165,000, according to the police preliminary investigation. The suspect remains unidentified and at large while the investigation continues.
