Percival nominated artist, Effie Mandalos will be featured at this year’s Antipodean Palette.

A practicing professional artist for over 15 years, Mandalos completed a Fine Arts Degree at Monash University. Her main focus is to capture and express a mood through tone and colour, and to play with the tension between space and shape.

The Greek Australian Cultural League of Melbourne’s 4th annual art exhibition, Antipodean Palette 2014 is currently running in Melbourne. The exhibition aims to support visual arts in the community by showcasing the works of 12 practicing artists in a variety of media.

Apart from Mandalos, other participating artists include: Angy Labiris, Anne Sampsonidis-Warren, Christos Avramoudas, Costa Athanassiou, James Raftopoulos, Mary Raphael, Sophie Kagadis, Soula Mantalvanos, Thalia Andrews, Tina Sideris and Tony Pierrakos.

Antipodean Palette 2014 will be held at Steps Gallery, 62 Lygon St, Carlton and will run until June 1, 10 to 4 pm daily.
