Greek Australian actor Peter Paltos will take to the stage as part of the Theatre Works and Sisters Grimm production of Summertime in the Garden of Eden. Created by Ash Flanders and Declan Greene, the actor will play the role of Confederate soldier Clive O’Donnell.
Set in Georgia, 1861, against the backdrop of the American Civil War, Summertime in the Garden of Eden is the story of a faded Southern belle who returns to the family plantation after ten years away. In the spirit of Gone with the Wind and Jezebel, combined with the histrionic theatre of Tennessee Williams, Sisters Grimm create a familiar world of cotton fields, iced tea on the lanai and deep, dark family secrets.
The production also stars Melbourne scene-queens Agent Cleave and Olympia Bukkais (as feuding debutantes) alongside Genevieve Giuffre and Bessi Holland.
