Be sure to book your tickets to see the political satire The Burning Light, direct from Greece, and on at the Athenaeum Theatre for one show only.

The Burning Light, the 1922 Greek poem by Bulgarian-born Marxist poet Kostas Varnalis is brought to life in this theatre production by Vasilis Kolovos.

A political satire, the play re-imagines Varnalis’ original poem for an entirely new generation. Still as relevant today as the day it was written more than 90 years ago, this new dramatic adaptation sold out its initial run in Greece.

The Burning Light
will be performed in Greek with no translation services.

When: Saturday 5 July at 7.30 for 8 pm
