US actor Tom Hanks spoke to Entertainment Tonight about being a grandfather a second time over; but when asked by the reporter what his grandchildren call him, he was quick to say ‘pappou’.
“That’s Greek…every yiayia is a grandma and every pappou is a Greek granddad,” he explained.
He talked about his love for looking after his grandchildren and credited his son Colin and his daughter-in-law for having incredible patience with their children.
