Senator Nick Xenophon has lent his musical talents to Canberra punk trio Super Best Friends by starring in the music video to their song Round and Round. The Senator rocks out on his bass guitar standing on his desk.
Even though Australian politicians may be in the middle of a heated election campaign, leaders and party representatives from all corners have temporarily put aside their differences for the sake of rock, giving it their best punk spirit for the band from the Australian Capital Territory.
Super Best Friends are responsible for the rare feat of getting a who who’s of Australia’s politics to star in the music video that includes: Prime Minister Kevin Rudd; Opposition Leader Tony Abbott; Bob Katter and Rob Oakeshott.
