The University of Cyprus in the framework of its objectives to further develop and reinforce relations with the Cyprus community abroad, as well as to promote a diverse cultural students’ environment, has decided to offer 25 scholarships for Cypriot expatriates and citizens of non EU countries for available Postgraduate Programmes for the academic year 2012/2013.

Five out of the 25 scholarships will be allocated explicitly to Cypriot applicants who are permanent residents of Australia, in order to strengthen the links with the Cyprus Communities in Australia. Furthermore, one scholarship will be granted to the Association of the Commonwealth Universities (to a student from a Commonwealth country) and fifteen further scholarships will be allocated to Cypriot applicants who are permanent residents in foreign countries and to foreign nationals from non EU countries.

The announced scholarships scheme will cover the tuition fees of the postgraduate program and a monthly allowance, which could cover the accommodation fees in the Students Halls of Residence of the University of Cyprus. The initial period of scholarship granted is for ten months, with the possibility of renewal for the summer months of July and August.
