Fashion designer, and one half of the duo behind Australian label Sabo Skirt, Yiota Kouzoukas and her husband George have welcomed a baby boy.

The couple’s first child was born in Brisbane on Wednesday just before 2.00 pm, weighing 3.32 kilograms.

Sharing an intimate photograph via social media, Yiota said “We have never felt love like this before ever and we know how blessed we are to have such a beautiful and healthy baby boy now in our lives,” reports the Daily Mail.

Named Connor, her husband explained that it was in honour of both of their dad’s names “with a bit of a modern twist”.

“Our Dads played such an influential role in both our lives, and we couldn’t wait to give our son such a special piece of his family through his name,” he said.

The 29-year-old announced her pregnancy in August, and has been open about her struggles with endometriosis and the resulting complications in trying to conceive, making the joy of meeting their heathy baby boy all the sweeter.

“Connor is very healthy and already such a happy boy which just goes to show that every body, and every pregnancy is completely different,” Yiota said.

“We can’t wait to share Connor with everyone.
“But first we are very excited to enjoy these special moments that come with a new birth with our loved ones, we know this time will turn into life long memories.”
