Police have revealed that the man who was found dead in a Sydney park last week has been identified as Nikolas Argiropoulos, and that he died from a fatal gun wound, after being shot in the face.

Argiropoulos’ body was discovered by a female walker last Thursday morning in Ballast Point Park in Birchgrove. When he was discovered, his face had been so badly injured, the police were unable to assertain what had happened.
