Neos Kosmos’ Facebook page received several messages this morning from disappointed drivers passing through Eastern and Geelong Freeways.
The offensive banners had been hung from the freeway signs saying “Greeks are Turks”.
The one on Punt Road even had a penis drawn onto the Greek flag.
It remains unclear who placed the banners there but the act has offended many Greek Australian citizens.
