One of the oldest ethnic groups in Australia, the Castellorizian Association on WA Inc, is celebrating its 100th year in May. To mark this prestigious event, they will be hosting a centenary week from 20 – 26 May in Perth.

The week long events include discussions on emigration from Castellorizo, forums on Kassie culture, preserving Castellorizian heritage: ending with a Centenary Gala dinner on the Saturday night.

The Castellorizian Association of WA was founded in 1912 and was the first Greek regional fraternity to have been formed anywhere in Australia. The association has helped fellow compatriots who remained on Castellorizo during it’s 100 years and has also aided in the emigration of many from the island. Since its beginnings, the association has grown from strength-to-strength financially and in membership base.

Discounts for the Centenary Week are available through group bookings and multiple event bookings. There is also discount accommodation available for those travelling to Perth for the event.
