The first Qatar Airways direct non-stop flight from Doha to Mykonos successfully landed on Wednesday.
Celebrating the expansion of its global network, the seasonal service will operate four-times-weekly until the end of September.
An Airbus A320, equipped with 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class, has made it easier for international visitors from the Middle East, Asia and Oceania to visit the beautiful Cycladian destination.
“Today’s inaugural flight to popular Mykonos marks further growth and strengthening bonds between the State of Qatar and Greece,” CEO of Qatar Airways Akbar Al BakerBaker said.
“We are looking forward to further enhancing this relationship, connecting Mykonos to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network and helping to open up and develop these attractive destinations for business and leisure travelers from around the world.”
Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Langkawi, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum and Antalya, Turkey and Málaga in Spain are only some of the new destinations Qatar has added to its itinerary.

Qatar Airways, that currently holds the title of ‘Airline of The Year’ by Skytrax, operates a fleet of more than 200 modern aircraft based at Hamad International Airport (HIA), flying to more than 150 destinations worldwide. ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’, ‘World’s Best Business Class’ and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge’ are only some of the prestigious awards 2017 saw Qatar go home with.
As of last week and till 30 September Qatar will be flying to and from Mykonos as follows:
Doha (DOH) to Mykonos (JMK) QR 311 departs 08:05 arrives 13:00 (Sat, Sun, Wed, Thu)
Mykonos (JMK) to Doha (DOH) QR 312 departs 14:00 arrives 18:40 (Sat, Sun, Wed, Thu)
