Singer George Michael has rescheduled his Australian tour for November.

The 48-year-old performer had to cancel the Australian leg of his Symphonica tour, after his near-fatal bout of pneumonia.

Michael will open his tour at Adelaide Entertainment Centre on November 13 before dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Hunter Valley.

The shows will feature an orchestra playing reinterpreted versions of songs from Michael’s back catalogue, including hits from his Wham! days, and covers of his favourite artists.

Tickets go on sale from 9:00 am on May 5.

Michael plays the following dates in Australia:

November 13 – Adelaide Entertainment Centre

November 17 – Sydney All Phones Arena

November 21 – Melbourne Rod Laver Arena

November 27 – Brisbane Entertainment Centre

December 1 – Hunter Valley Hope Estate Winery
