Greek police say that a suspected extreme nationalist has been arrested and they are seeking another man after two attacks on immigrants in Athens.

In a police statement yesterday, police allege two Pakistanis were beaten and racially abused in attack on Friday and a mobile phone and cash was stolen.

In another attack the same day, an immigrant of unknown nationality was also beaten and verbally abused, the ABC reported.

Both of the attacks happened in the Athens suburb of Aharnes. Police caught and arrested the first suspect at the weekend and said he and the other suspect will be charged with robbery, grievous bodily harm and breaches of anti-racism laws.
