SYDNEY OLYMPIC
In what can only be described as a dramatic fixture, Sydney Olympic managed to grab an away victory at Lambert Park, taking down bottom-of-the-table Sydney FC 2-3. The visitors showed their intentions early on through a Max Burgess goal in the 12th minute, however the home side equalised with a Cox penalty in the 23rd, sending the two teams into the locker rooms on equal footing. In the second half, Sydney Olympic showed their determination, and thanks to two goals by Sanchez Lopez (50′) and Kuleski (58′) they sealed the win, leaving Sydney FC with only a consolation goal in injury time (90+2′ penalty Skotadis). This win brought Sydney Olympic back on top of the NPL NSW table, where they stand with 39 points, as many as the APIA Tigers. The next opponents for the Blues will be Sutherland Sharks at home.

Sydney Olympic: Henderson, Whiteside, Kuleski (84′ Pavicevic), Angel (62′ Dimitriou), Madonis, Max Burgess, Jinya An, Mackenzie, Sanchez Lopez, Darcy Burgess (74′ Tsatallios), Woodcock.

OLYMPIC FC
Yet another 3-0 victory for Olympic, as they cruised past the Cleveland Showgrounds to beat Redlands United. Smith opened the score in the 35th minute with a great free kick just outside the box, with Psarros doubling the margin in the 68th. Whyte secured the win for his team in the 84th minute, however this result didn’t change things on the top of the NPL Queensland ladder, as Olympic still trail the Lions by one point, 51 to 50. Next week, Olympic will face-off against Brisbane City at Goodwin Park.

Olympic FC: Mooney, Glover, Stefanutto, Waters, Whyte, Mundy, Dais (66′ Byrne), Sanders (74′ Ito), Lofthouse, Psarros, Smith (71′ Cuminao).

DARWIN OLYMPIC SPORTING CLUB
At the big game for second place on the NPL Northern Territory table, Darwin Olympic walked away with the 1-2 win against Casuarina. Maragos gave the visitors the lead in the 12th, with Casuarina striking back at their opponents thanks to an equaliser from a Mukhlis penalty in the 50th minute. Maragos had not said his final word however, and with yet another strike in the 67th gave the victory and the second place on the ladder to Darwin with 24 points. This weekend they will face the Palmerston Rovers in another away game.

Darwin Olympic SC: Agbasi, Al-Rubie, Amidy, Buntin, Georgiou, Hajdic, Kwana, Maragos, Naan, Roksa, Soares.

HELLENIC FC
Another easy win for Hellenic, as they annihilated the Mindil Aces 2-9. This win brings them to 34 points, and thanks to Darwin’s victory at Casuarina, their lead from the second-placed team is now extended to 10 points. The next opponent for Hellenic will be Port Darwin at home.

WEST ADELAIDE
A poor performance by West Adelaide last weekend as they were thrashed 5-1 at the Steve Woodcock Sports Centre by NPL SA leaders Campbelltown City. Even though West Adelaide got an early lead in the game thanks to a Bouraee goal in the 8th minute, they were severely punished for their defensive errors with another five by Ture (27′), Kirk (64′), Mullen (59′) and Marino (86′, 88′). This result will bring them back down to eighth place on the board with 24 points as they prepare to head to the Smith Partners Stadium where Adelaide United awaits them.

West Adelaide: Moss, Z Christodoulopoulos, Tesfagabr, Eleftherakis (78′ Mitris), Yull, Papasian (29′ Mantis), Mpouzalas (86′ Maiolo), Bouraee, Alexandrou, Kuzmicki, Lippett.

ADELAIDE OLYMPIC FC
The latter team from Adelaide didn’t have much success last week either, as they were stuck on a 1-1 draw against South Adelaide at O’Sullivan’s. The goals were scored by Carmichael (21′, South Adelaide) and Erba (24′, Adelaide Olympic). However, the one point of this draw and the results in the other matches saw them go up in the NPL South Australia ladder to sixth place (24 points). This week they will go to the Adelaide Shores Football Centre to face Birkalla.
Adelaide Olympic FC: Atkins, Trimboli (79′ Harpas), Barnett, Makridis, Vlassis, (55′ Bontor), Harpas, Butler-Bowdon, Da Silva, Brown, Waters, Erba.

OLYMPIA WARRIORS FC
Olympia were unsuccessful in their bid to claim a victory away from home, as they were held to a 2-2 draw by the Northern Rangers. The Warriors gained the lead very early thanks to a Gurson goal, but despite that, the Rangers managed to turn the game on its head by the second half, with goals provided by Lanau-Atkinson (28′) and Cristy (68′). In the end, Olympia were lucky to claim just the one point, which was given to them by a goal from Hill in the 83rd minute. This draw maintains the Warriors in fifth position of the NPL Queensland ladder, 15 points away from table leaders Devonport. They will have their opportunity at slimming this lead however, as this week they will play host to the club.

Olympia Warriors FC: Stevens, Johnson, Castaneda, Griffiths, Gurson, Hill, Hills, Holmes, Davis, Murfitt, Nkoso.

HAMILTON OLYMPIC FC
Hamilton were stuck on a goalless draw against Maitland at home last weekend. Despite that, the results from other teams saw them climb the ladder of the NPL Northern NSW from seventh to fifth. Their next challenge will be at the Lake Macquarie Park where they will face the local City.

Hamilton Olympic FC: Eisenhauer, Hodges, Davies, Mcguinness, Green (70′ Sutherland), Bailey, Cooper, Pettit, Stewart, Lucas, Bertos.

FLOREAT ATHINA
Yet another draw for a Greek team last weekend, as Athina were not able to secure a win at the Plasterboard Centre against Inglewood United, instead being held to a 2-2 result. Athina were happy to grab an early lead through Petkov (13′), but the situation quickly changed as Santalucia committed a penalty that was converted into a goal by Salmon in the 26th. The visitors were up against it when Salmon struck again at the start of the second half, however they were able to maintain their composure and grab the one point from the game thanks to a Fuller goal in the 71st minute. This draw doesn’t change much for the Athenians, who still remain on the eighth position of the NPL Western Australia ladder with 26 points as they prepare to play host to Bayswater City.

Floreat Athina: J Saldaris, Santalucia, Fuller, Stynes (76′ Abandelwa), Petkov, Whitney, Galan, C. Saldaris, Malton, Evans, Pollard (67′ Arnold).
