A photo of two mesmerised cats caught on camera enjoying the sunset on Naxos island, Greece, last night has been gaining popularity since last night.
The romantic felines, are pictured sitting super close to each other while looking deep into the horizon in the outskirts of Chora, the Cycladic island’s main town.
Catspotting member Amanda Harrington took the photo and shared it on the private Facebook group captioning the moment: “Caught these 2 honeymooners watching the sunset in Naxos Greece”.
The photo garnered more than 8.2K likes and hundreds of comments within the private group alone but was quickly copied and shared in other cat focused pages and Instagram accounts, accumulating over 300,000 likes in total thus far.
Greece is famous for its rather playful, cuddly and overally welcoming cat population, so we thought it would be nice to share.
