Greek pilots were named the best among those that belong in the NATO-affiliated nations, after a great showing of their capabilities in Albacete of Spain. In fact, this is the second year in a row that Greece has won this award and more specifically the award for the Best Warrior in the World.
The competition took place at the Air Base Los Blancos during the 3rd Air Training Series for the 2018 Tactical Leadership Program from 10 September all the way to 4 October.
Three hundred and thirty one squads from NATO participated in the program, and completed simulations of missions on the national and NATO levels in order to help all personnel become more accustomed to the procedures, with Greek pilots projecting their exemplary skills. They were voted as Best Warriors by the participating Fighter Operators.
