The Andrews government has announced today its plans to move forward with a $100,000 investment on the multicultural radio station “3ZZZ”, should they win the coming state elections.

As the statement released by Labor reads, this amount will ensure that the station is able to expand and continues to provide a voice for young people from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Should it come to pass, this investment will coincide with the radio station’s 30th anniversary, as it began to broadcast back in 1989 and today is home to over 60 different language programs.

Daniel Andrews said the following regarding this investment: “The success of 3ZZZ is a big part of the success of Victorian multiculturalism.

This investment is our way of saying thank you. This investment will help 3ZZZ expand its important work, helping to share the voices and stories of even more Victorians”.

Minister of Multicultural Affairs Robin Scott stated that the Labor party goes one step further than simply tolerating diversity and multiculturalism, by celebrating it.
