A walk at the beach, a nice swim, a family barbecue, a picnic in the park.

All these appear to be viable options for Christmas Day all across the country as according to the Bureau of Meteorology, temperatures are going to be just right to get people to come outside and enjoy the day.

More to the point, in Victoria both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are set to be sunny, with temperatures reaching as high as 31 degrees Celsius on Monday and only a small chance of a few clouds appearing in the sky late on Tuesday afternoon.

But Victoria won’t be the only area enjoying the nice weather, as Sydney will have similar conditions on Tuesday (small chance of rain on Christmas Eve), while both Adelaide and Perth will experience high temperatures for the season, with 33 and 32 degrees Celsius respectively.

Additionally, meteorologists have declared that some of the northern areas in Victoria are set to experience a small heat wave, with the temperature in Mildura reaching 36 degrees, 35 in Horshan and 33 in Albury-Wodonga.

In the days leading up to Christmas Eve, Melbourne could see a few showers, however as the bureau points out, there’s no reason for concern.
